The platform behind our certification: CertFlow.

Every test, inspection and certificate we issue runs through CertFlow — a UK compliance and asset-management platform built for inspection and certification work. It is how we keep hundreds of anchors, lines and guardrails audit-ready across every site we cover.

[SYSTEM ID: SHS-CF / REV 01]

One system for every certificate.

CertFlow is an all-in-one compliance, inspection and asset-management platform for UK inspection and certification firms. It replaces the spreadsheets, paper certificates and scattered folders that most height-safety records still live in with one structured system — built around the standards we work to every day: LOLER thorough examination, BS 7883 for the installation and inspection of structural anchors, and BS EN 795 anchor devices.

For a testing and certification contractor, that matters. When we pull-test an eyebolt, examine a davit, or recertify a mansafe line, the certificate has to be accurate, traceable, and produced the same way every time. CertFlow is what keeps that consistent across every engineer and every site we attend.

What CertFlow does on the ground.

The features we rely on, from the point of inspection to the audit that follows.

01
CERTIFICATES

Certificates in minutes, not hours

Guided inspection wizards capture photos, signatures and defect codes on site and produce branded, audit-ready PDFs automatically — so the certificate is finished before we leave the roof.

02
ASSET REGISTER

Every anchor on one register

Each eyebolt, cable line, guardrail run and davit is logged from site down to sub-location, with a QR code we scan on the next visit. Live status shows at a glance what is valid, expiring or expired.

03
RECERTIFICATION

Nothing slips past its date

Recurring schedules track every 12-month recertification — and the six-monthly cycle for davit, abseil and other higher-consequence systems — so a client certificate never lapses without warning.

04
FIELD-READY

Works with no signal

The mobile app runs fully offline, so engineers capture results, photos and signatures on rooftops and plant decks with no connectivity, and everything syncs the moment they are back in range.

05
AUDIT TRAIL

Audit-ready by default

Every action is timestamped and logged, so when an insurer or auditor asks for evidence, the full history of a system is a couple of clicks away rather than a folder hunt.

06
STANDARDS

Aligned to what we certify to

Discipline templates map to the regulations behind our work — LOLER, PUWER and the British Standards for structural anchors and fall-protection systems — so the paperwork is right the first time.

From paperwork to one source of truth.

Before CertFlow, height-safety certification meant test sheets written on site, typed up back at the office, saved to a shared drive, and chased by hand when recertification came due. Records lived in different places for different clients, and building an audit pack meant assembling it manually.

Now the certificate is generated at the point of inspection, the asset register updates itself, and the compliance status of every system we look after is visible in real time. For our clients that means faster turnaround on certificates, no missed recertification dates, and a complete, audit-ready record whenever they need it. For our engineers it means less time on admin and more on the work that actually keeps people safe at height.

  • Certificates issued on the day of inspection, not days later
  • A live compliance register for every site, always current
  • Automatic reminders before any certificate lapses
  • Full offline capture on rooftops with no signal
  • A timestamped audit trail for insurers and regulators
  • One consistent standard of documentation across every engineer

Explore CertFlow.

CertFlow is available to any UK inspection or certification firm, not just height safety. If you run compliance work across LOLER, PSSR, BS 7671, fire, gas or water, it is worth a look — it is the same platform that runs our certification day to day.
